CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ROYAL<br />

AIR FORCE AIR POWER REVIEW<br />

The <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Power</strong> Review is published<br />

quarterly under the auspices of the<br />

Director of Defence <strong>Studies</strong> (RAF) and has<br />

the sponsorship of the Assistant Chief of the<br />

<strong>Air</strong> Staff. It is intended to provide an open<br />

<strong>for</strong>um <strong>for</strong> study which stimulates discussion<br />

and thought on air power in its broadest<br />

context. This publication is also intended to<br />

support the British armed <strong>for</strong>ces in general<br />

and the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> in particular with<br />

respect to the development and application<br />

of air power.<br />

Contributions from both Service and civilian<br />

authors are sought which will contribute to<br />

existing knowledge and understanding of<br />

the subject. Any topic will be considered by<br />

the <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Power</strong> Review Management Board<br />

and a payment of £200 will be made <strong>for</strong> each<br />

article published.<br />

Articles should be original and preferably<br />

not previously published, although those of<br />

sufficient merit will not be precluded.<br />

Between 2,000 and 10,000 words in length,<br />

articles should list bibliographical references<br />

as end notes, and state a word count.<br />

Lengthy articles may be published in<br />

installments. Contributions from serving<br />

military personnel should be in accordance<br />

with DCI GEN 313 dated 26 <strong>No</strong>vember 1999.<br />

Material should be submitted in Microsoft<br />

word, on floppy disk, Zip or CD and should<br />

be accompanied by numbered page copy<br />

plus any photographs and illustrations.<br />

Digital pictures should be saved as TIFFs or<br />

JPEGs @ 300dpi. Final design <strong>for</strong>mat <strong>for</strong>
