1 GENERAL<br />
1.1 Scope<br />
The inner boot, mountain/ski, is worn together with the outer boot, mountain/ski,<br />
by soldiers of the mountain troops for military skiing in alpine terrain. It can<br />
also be used as alpine hut shoe.<br />
1.2 General technical-organizational requirements<br />
In accordance with <strong>TL</strong> 8400-0007 and <strong>TL</strong> 8305-0011. Special attention should be<br />
paid to the requirements with respect to health, safety and environmental<br />
protection.<br />
1.3 Environmental compatibility<br />
In accordance with <strong>TL</strong> 8305-0011.<br />
2 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS<br />
2.1 Technical data package<br />
Die inner boot is a lined laced shaft boot with loop lacing, padded upper collar<br />
and bonded, slightly profilated concave rubber sole.<br />
The inner boot, mountain/ski, shall be manufactured according to the sealed<br />
models BSS-99 and on plastic last BSS-85.<br />
Lasts and models may be obained from Brüder Winkle GmbH + Co. KG, Fabrikstraße 7<br />
in 89281 Altenstadt/Iller or Fagus GreCon GmbH & Co. KG, Hannoversche Straße 58<br />
in 31061 Alfeld/Leine.<br />

2.6 Marking of supply items<br />
Affixing brand or company logos is not permitted. Marking exclusively according<br />
to the requirements specified in the respective valid <strong>TL</strong>.<br />
The outsole (toe part) of the inner boot shall be marked with the size.<br />
Additionally, a label indicating size, month and year of delivery, and the number<br />
of the supplier (e.g.: 270 02 05 0000) shall be fixed to the inside of the tongue<br />
2 cm away from the upper edge.<br />
3 QUALITY ASSURANCE<br />
3.1 Quality inspections<br />
No specific requirements.<br />
It is presupposed that the Contractor ensures the fulfilment of the technical<br />
requirements by conducting item-related acceptance tests and documenting the<br />
results (refer to 3.2).<br />
3.2 Contractor quality control<br />
No special requirements.<br />
Die Contractor shall inspect the supplies and/or services for contractual<br />
conformity and document the result.<br />
3.3 Government quality assurance<br />
4 PACKAGING<br />
Not applicable, unless indicated otherwise in the contract.<br />
For packing level C (NATO-4) in accordance with <strong>TL</strong> 8100-0101, the packaging shall<br />
be conducted taking the following additional requirements or deviations into<br />
account:<br />
4.1 Unit package<br />
Each pair of inner boots, mountain/ski, shall be packed into a commercial box,<br />
provided with ventilation holes, so as to be resistant to vibration.<br />

4.2 Shipping package<br />
5 unit packages each, identical in size, shall be packed into a collapsible<br />
cardboard box with butting outer bottom and top flaps so as to be resistant to<br />
vibration.<br />
Double-wall corrugated boxes shall be used of a quality that guarantees a<br />
stacking height of 2.50 m without box deformation (especially in the lower box<br />
layers).The shipping package shall be provided with ventilation holes.<br />

Closure<br />
Double-T seal in accordance with DIN 55479, index number 3 by means of a<br />
