With new attractions, great family<br />

on offer, there’s nothing like<br />

the 2010 Royal Melbourne Show,<br />

which will be held at the Melbourne<br />

Showgrounds from Saturday 18 to<br />

Tuesday 28 September.<br />

Conducted by the Royal Agricultural<br />

Society of Victoria (RASV), the<br />

Royal Melbourne Show is Victoria’s<br />

most popular annual community<br />

event that brings the very best of<br />

the country to the city to provide a<br />

range of unique and <strong>me</strong>morable<br />

experiences to enjoy with family<br />

and friends.<br />

“Traditionally beginning the Thursday<br />

prior to school holidays, the<br />

2010 Royal Melbourne Show will<br />

this year be held from Saturday 18<br />

to Tuesday 28 September to encompass<br />

the second week of the school<br />

holidays, making it more accessible<br />

for a greater number of families with<br />

young children to attend,” said Mr<br />

O’Sullivan RASV CEO.<br />

This year’s Show is packed with<br />

a wide variety of free and fun activities<br />

from interactive and educational<br />

family entertain<strong>me</strong>nt to animals<br />

and agriculture, art and craft, food<br />

and wine, carnival rides, showbags<br />

and spectacular fireworks.<br />

The new Flowers, Gardening<br />

and Pets Pavilion will be a highlight<br />

this year, featuring the “Growers<br />

Avenue and Fresh Flower Market”,<br />

a showcase of the best of Victoria’s<br />

flower growers by Flowers Victoria.<br />

Also on offer in this pavilion will be<br />

a range of companion animals on<br />

display and an all-new reptile and<br />

snake exhibition from the Victorian<br />

Herpetological Society.<br />

Also new this year - and a first for<br />

Australian audiences - will be the<br />

amazing Oliver’s Swiss High-Div-<br />
