The <strong>Traverse</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> <strong>Area</strong> <strong>Intermediate</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> (TBAISD) is pleased <strong>to</strong> offer our <strong>Guide</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Services</strong>.<br />
As the region’s educational service agency, we provide leadership and support <strong>to</strong> all public,<br />
private and parochial schools within Antrim, Benzie, Grand <strong>Traverse</strong>, Kalkaska and Leelanau<br />
counties.<br />
Our mission is <strong>to</strong> “enhance educational effectiveness” throughout the system of education within<br />
the <strong>Traverse</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> area. TBAISD is committed <strong>to</strong> continually seeking the most effective ways <strong>to</strong> assist<br />
school districts with delivering quality education for all students. We also establish centralized<br />
and collaborative programs that provide significant cost savings <strong>to</strong> schools. We are proud of our<br />
collaborative efforts with local districts and other constituents. We are truly a shared community<br />
resource, focused on leading lifetime learning for the region.<br />
