SUMMARY:<br />

In this role you will promote and sell <strong>ITN</strong> Freight Forwarding services, to meet sales targets and generate<br />

revenue while responding to customer needs and requirements. You will develop relationships with new<br />

clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics<br />

arena.<br />

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br />

Must have a track record of sales in the international freight forwarding arena.<br />

Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and selling the company's core products, which include<br />

international transportation (air and ocean) with customs brokerage, trucking and other Logistics<br />

services.<br />

Securing appointments with key management to understand current business conditions and<br />

future opportunities<br />

Aligning services to business needs using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge<br />

Preparing and presenting formal proposals, leading negotiations, coordinating complex decisionmaking<br />

processes, and overcoming objections to closure.<br />

Ensuring the highest level of service through problem identification/resolution, industry expertise,<br />

and account maintenance<br />

Successfully executes growth strategies to reach or exceed established revenue and profit goals.<br />

Must be adept at creating and managing a sales plan and executing that plan to success.<br />

Comfortable and polished in all types of client interaction, scheduling meetings and making<br />

presentations.<br />

Responsible for creating monthly/weekly sales report and participate in weekly sales meeting.<br />

Research and resolve customer problems and complaints.<br />

Make presentations to prospective or existing accounts to propose rate structures and service<br />

options.<br />

Prepare and prioritizes sales planning and reporting results.<br />

Develop and effectively managed a strong new business pipeline.<br />

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from cold<br />

calling in person, telephone prospecting, referrals from existing clients and business colleges,<br />

Inside <strong>Sales</strong> Channel, Outside <strong>Sales</strong> Channel, Internet Web sites, and other sources.<br />

Follow up on leads received by converting it into customers.<br />

Maintain aging/DSO within corporate guidelines and follow up with customers as needed<br />

Emphasizes value add, detailed cost analysis and prepares sales presentations and proposals.<br />

Establishes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new customers in close coordination with<br />

the customer and multiple departments to ensure effective on-boarding of new business.<br />

Builds and maintains customer relationships.<br />

BS degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.<br />

2+ years of related <strong>International</strong>/NVOCC sales experience preferred<br />

Must have a proven sales track record<br />

Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering service presentations and closing new<br />

business<br />

Previous experience in a logistics environment, specifically in freight forwarding is required.<br />

Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills<br />

Must have strong & clear communication skills both verbal and written.<br />
