ErgoPull Closure<br />

All <strong>Escapist</strong> hipbelts<br />

use our exclusive,<br />

modified straight<br />

ErgoPull design. To<br />

operate, loosen the<br />

webbing enough so<br />

you can connect the<br />

center buckle. Then<br />

grasp the loose ends<br />

of the webbing on<br />

either side and pull<br />

in and across evenly<br />

with both hands at<br />

the same time.<br />

LidLock Helmet Clip<br />

Every <strong>Escapist</strong> <strong>Series</strong><br />

pack features a LidLock<br />

helmet clip with<br />

elasticized load control<br />

system providing quick<br />

and secure helmet carry.<br />

To use A Locate LidLock<br />

clip near the top of the<br />

pack’s front panel and<br />

pull away from the pack.<br />

B In the vertical position,<br />

pass LidLock through<br />

helmet vent from the<br />

bottom and engage in<br />

horizontal position. C On<br />

the right outside panel of<br />

the pack find a cord loop<br />

to increase or decrease<br />

tension. Reverse to<br />

remove helmet.<br />

HydraForm Reservoir<br />

Add an <strong>Osprey</strong> HydraForm <br />

2 or 3 liter hydration reservoir<br />

to your pack for stable,<br />

efficient, on-the-go water<br />

Base Compartment<br />

The <strong>Escapist</strong> 30 and 25<br />

feature a bottom, dual<br />

zippered compartment<br />

with sewn-in fabric<br />

divider ideal for the<br />

storage of dirty clothes,<br />

shoes and a multitude<br />

of other essential items.<br />

Front and Side Mesh Pockets<br />

In addition to a front<br />

mesh pocket (except<br />

<strong>Escapist</strong> 15), each <strong>Escapist</strong><br />

<strong>Series</strong> pack features two<br />

InsideOut compression<br />

allowing you to tension<br />

and secure your load easily<br />

even when the pockets<br />

are in use. To route the<br />

InsideOut compression<br />

straps as desired, A locate<br />

the duckbill buckle to<br />

the top and side of the<br />

stretch woven side pocket<br />

and unthread the webbing<br />

through this buckle and<br />

the corresponding slider<br />

buckle near the back<br />

panel of the pack. B Now<br />

route the webbing for inner or outer compression by<br />

positioning the slider buckle inside or outside of the<br />

side pocket and reversing the process above.<br />

will find a reinforced<br />

blinker light attachment<br />

tab for the utmost in<br />

visibility<br />

Integrated Raincover<br />

Every <strong>Escapist</strong> <strong>Series</strong><br />

pack features a built-in,<br />

high visibility raincover<br />

designed to protect your<br />

bag’s contents in even the<br />

most adverse conditions.<br />

The raincover features<br />

reflective materials and a<br />

built-in blinker patch to<br />

increase safety.<br />

To access, A locate<br />

the zippered raincover<br />

compartment near the<br />

base of the pack , unzip<br />

and pull raincover from<br />

compartment to slip over<br />

top and bottom of pack;<br />

B tension into place using<br />

the cord lock at the bottom<br />

of the raincover. Reverse<br />

B<br />

this process to return raincover to compartment. To<br />

remove the raincover altogether, unfasten the hasp<br />

from the cord loop and remove.<br />

Note: To prevent mildew, remove raincover and allow to dry<br />

entirely after use in the rain.<br />
