Your pack is an extremely durable product built for
years of use and abuse. However, some basic procedures
will ensure that your pack holds up optimally.
• After each trip be sure to clean out your pack
thoroughly.
• If it’s wet, hang it to dry.
• Loosen all the straps.
• Wash your pack every now and then. (Do not
immerse travel packs with our High Road
Wheeled Chassis.)

Modified BioStretch Torso
Adjustable Harness

consisting of mesh covered

sternum strap with rescue
whistle buckle and an
integrated, zippered
electronics pocket.
Two torso adjustable sizes
provide exceptional fit and adjustability (Escapist 25
and 30 only). To adjust torso sizing: A Loosen load
lifter straps at top of harness, B locate arrow icon
and slide a hand between backpanel and harness to
separate the hook and loop closure, C slide harness
into position using arrows as a guide, D press firmly
to re-engage closure.

space. A Locate and
loosen load-lifter/

harness straps to access.
B Place the reservoir
in the compartment using the sewn-in hanger as
needed. C Route the hose left/right through elastic
routers on the harness as preferred, and re-tighten
load lifter straps.
Panel Load Access

zippered, panel load main
compartment access to
internal contents.
Bio-Stretch Hipbelt
Every Escapist Series
pack features a modified,
BioStretch Hipbelt
consisting of mesh
covered, slotted foam
with dual zippered
hipbelt pockets and
a modified, straight
ErgoPull hipbelt closure
designed for comfort and
performance.
Note: The Escapist 15 and
20 do not feature hipbelt
pockets or slotted foam

Top Slash Pocket
Front Panel Pocket
Escapist Series packs feature
a dual zippered, front panel
compartment with internal
fabric stash pocket, key clip,
tool organization sleeves
and mesh pockets ideal for
carrying pumps, bike tools
and tubes.
AirScape Suspension
Each Escapist Series pack
features the AirScape
backpanel consisting of
mesh-covered, ridge molded
foam with air channels to
provide the utmost comfort,
carry and performance.
A top, zippered slash
pocket allows additional
organization/storage
solutions and features heat
embossed fabric to protect
valuable items from being
scratched while allowing for
easy clean up of spills.

ErgoPull Closure
All Escapist hipbelts
use our exclusive,
modified straight
ErgoPull design. To
operate, loosen the
webbing enough so
you can connect the
center buckle. Then
grasp the loose ends
of the webbing on
either side and pull
in and across evenly
with both hands at
the same time.
LidLock Helmet Clip
Every Escapist Series
pack features a LidLock
helmet clip with
elasticized load control
system providing quick
and secure helmet carry.
To use A Locate LidLock
clip near the top of the
pack’s front panel and
pull away from the pack.
B In the vertical position,
pass LidLock through
helmet vent from the
bottom and engage in
horizontal position. C On
the right outside panel of
the pack find a cord loop
to increase or decrease
tension. Reverse to
remove helmet.
HydraForm Reservoir
Add an Osprey HydraForm
2 or 3 liter hydration reservoir
to your pack for stable,
efficient, on-the-go water
management. For more

Base Compartment
The Escapist 30 and 25
feature a bottom, dual
zippered compartment
with sewn-in fabric
divider ideal for the
storage of dirty clothes,
shoes and a multitude
of other essential items.
Front and Side Mesh Pockets
In addition to a front
mesh pocket (except
Escapist 15), each Escapist
Series pack features two

side mesh pockets with
InsideOut compression
allowing you to tension
and secure your load easily
even when the pockets
are in use. To route the
InsideOut compression
straps as desired, A locate
the duckbill buckle to
the top and side of the
stretch woven side pocket
B
and unthread the webbing
through this buckle and
the corresponding slider
buckle near the back
panel of the pack. B Now
route the webbing for inner or outer compression by
positioning the slider buckle inside or outside of the
side pocket and reversing the process above.
Blinker Light Attachment
Near the base of every
Escapist Series pack you
will find a reinforced
blinker light attachment
tab for the utmost in
visibility
Integrated Raincover
Every Escapist Series
pack features a built-in,
high visibility raincover
designed to protect your
bag’s contents in even the
most adverse conditions.
The raincover features

reflective materials and a
built-in blinker patch to
increase safety.
To access, A locate
the zippered raincover
compartment near the
base of the pack , unzip
and pull raincover from
compartment to slip over
top and bottom of pack;
B tension into place using
the cord lock at the bottom
of the raincover. Reverse
B
this process to return raincover to compartment. To
remove the raincover altogether, unfasten the hasp
from the cord loop and remove.
Note: To prevent mildew, remove raincover and allow to dry
entirely after use in the rain.
