3 Terms and Definitions<br />
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.<br />

Absolute Target Address<br />
a designation of target address that begins at the root of the containment hierarchy<br />
3.2<br />
Addressing Associations<br />
an association instance that is used by the MAP to construct the UFiP to an instance referenced by the<br />
association instance<br />
3.3<br />
Admin Domain<br />
the set of Managed Elements, Logical Devices, and Services for which the MAP has management<br />
responsibilities<br />
3.4<br />
Association<br />
a relationship between two Managed Elements, which is itself a manageable entity within the Admin<br />
Domain<br />
3.5<br />
Association Class<br />
identifies the CIM Class of an Association<br />
3.6<br />
Client<br />
any system that acts in the role of a client to a MAP<br />
3.7<br />
CLP Service<br />
the logical entity within a MAP that implements the CLP<br />
3.8<br />
CLP Target<br />
a Managed Element or Association whose properties, behavior, UFcT, and so on are wholly defined by<br />
the profiles approved for use with the CLP<br />
