10 Two-year guarantee<br />

Dear Customer,<br />

Thank you for deciding to purchase one of our products. For<br />

decades the name <strong>Wella</strong> has stood for tested quality and<br />

first-class service. We offer our customers innovative and efficient<br />

products.<br />

<strong>Wella</strong> manufactures high-quality appliances and warrants the<br />

use of high-grade materials and careful workmanship. We<br />

give two years' guarantee from the date of purchase (invoice<br />

date) in the event of defects in the quality of the product.<br />

In addition to your contractual and statutory guarantee rights,<br />

<strong>Wella</strong> offers you a manufacturer's guarantee on the following<br />

terms:<br />

This manufacturer's guarantee applies for two years from the<br />

date of purchase. It applies to deficiencies (errors, defects)<br />

due to faulty materials or workmanship.<br />

Our manufacturer's guarantee excludes:<br />

deficiencies caused by incorrect operation, normal wear and<br />

tear, incorrect interference with the product by unauthorised<br />

persons, or use of third-party products during assembly<br />

which do not fit or do not function perfectly. Also excluded<br />

are deficiencies which have little or no significant effect on<br />

the value or serviceability of the appliance.<br />

In the event of a deficiency covered by our manufacturer's<br />

guarantee occurring within our guarantee period of two years<br />

from the date of purchase, we will, at our option, either repair<br />

the faulty product or provide a replacement.<br />

It is a precondition of our manufacturer's guarantee that you<br />

send or bring the product and proof of purchase (invoice) to<br />

us within the guarantee period, in other words to the national<br />

sales companies of <strong>Wella</strong> or the relevant national Customer<br />

Service Centre. The current addresses of our customer service<br />

centres can be found at www.wella.com in the device section.<br />

Independently of our manufacturer's guarantee, you may of<br />

course assert guarantee rights in relation to the vendor – e.g.<br />

subsequent performance (remediation of defects, repair or<br />

replacement), withdrawal from the contract or reduction in<br />

purchase price – insofar as you possess such contractual or<br />

statutory rights. Such rights are not affected by our manufacturer's<br />

guarantee.<br />
