m32i loudspeaker
The Mission m32i is a stand-mount loudspeaker ideally suited to the Mission Stancette stand. Similar to the m31i but
with a larger 165mm DiaDrive bass unit, the m32i provides deeper bass extension and impressive midrange
performance. The curved profile to the 30mm thick front baffle optimises dispersion and provides a rigid frame for
the drive units in conjunction with the strongly braced 18mm MDF cabinet construction.
To match the outstanding performance of the new DiaDrive bass unit, a lightweight, Viotex fabric dome treble unit
handles high frequencies up to an ultrasonic 28kHz. The true analysis of this extended bandwidth can be found in
the sweetness, clarity and detail resolution that only comes from a drive unit that pushes distortion products beyond
the limits of audibility.
The new i-series crossover takes into account the baffle diffraction effect to give a more open and detailed midrange
performance, with superior integration between the drive units for smoother treble output. In addition crossovers are
now wired to drive units using Mission’s special HP-OFC (High Purity Oxygen Free Copper) cable with its dedicated
bass and treble formulations.
