Full Credit • Applied to year long course average Semester Exams • Adjusted to weigh equally across semesters • Six weeks grades and semester exams make up 85% of grade • EOC accounts for remaining 15% Conversion Scale • Three State assigned Performance Levels • Converted into a value to be used for the 15 percent calculation
A student’s score on the STAAR EOC assessment will count 15 percent towards the student’s final grade in that course. Several options are being considered for converting that score into a 15 percent value. The campuses and community will be provided an opportunity to provide feedback on the options that are being considered.
