Course Descripti<strong>on</strong><br />

The purpose of this live CME activity is to provide evidence-based knowledge<br />

<strong>on</strong> a broad range of issues relevant to women’s health across the lifespan, to a<br />

target audience that includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practiti<strong>on</strong>ers,<br />

nurses, and other allied healthcare providers. This c<strong>on</strong>ference remains unique in its<br />

multidisciplinary approach to understanding sex and gender differences across the<br />

spectrum of disease, and to its interdisciplinary audience, which spans departments<br />

and organ systems and also encompasses all healthcare professi<strong>on</strong>s. Lectures<br />

and questi<strong>on</strong>-and-answer sessi<strong>on</strong>s feature experts from a variety of specialties<br />

including obstetrics and gynecology, <strong>on</strong>cology, endocrinology, general internal<br />

medicine, psychiatry and aesthetic medicine.<br />

Who Should Attend<br />

This program is designed for OB/GYNs, internists, generalists, and family<br />

practiti<strong>on</strong>ers. This program would also be of interest to physician assistants,<br />

nurse practiti<strong>on</strong>ers, nurses and other allied health care professi<strong>on</strong>als in the Mid-<br />

Atlantic regi<strong>on</strong> who want to learn the latest trends and hear expert speakers<br />

discuss hot topics in women’s health. The program offers 6.5 hours of CME credit.<br />

At the completi<strong>on</strong> of this activity, the participant should be able to:<br />

utility and risks.<br />
