<strong>F3000</strong> Safe <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Test</strong>er for Breathing <strong>Air</strong> Systems<br />

The <strong>F3000</strong> Safe <strong>Air</strong> tester enables m<strong>on</strong>thly breathing-air tests <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> be c<strong>on</strong>ducted easily and<br />

quickly. This ensures complete compliance with the relevant requirements of COSHH L5.<br />

Developed from the market leading F2000 the <strong>F3000</strong> sets new standards in air quality<br />

instrumentati<strong>on</strong>. With a user-friendly menu driven display, air quality testing is both easy and<br />

quick <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> complete, with a typical test taking approximately 18 minutes.<br />

The detecti<strong>on</strong> parameters of BS 4275<br />

1997 are met or exceeded during the<br />

au<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>matically c<strong>on</strong>trolled test by the use of<br />

Factair-approved detec<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>r tubes <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

establish levels of carb<strong>on</strong> m<strong>on</strong>oxide,<br />

carb<strong>on</strong> dioxide, oil and water. An inbuilt<br />

electr<strong>on</strong>ic sensor with digital readout<br />

measures oxygen c<strong>on</strong>tent, whilst an<br />

inbuilt flowmeter allows airflow up <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> 600<br />

l/min <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> be verified. Additi<strong>on</strong>ally the<br />

<strong>F3000</strong> has a programmable test facility<br />

for both mineral and synthetic oils.<br />

The <strong>F3000</strong> features a number of<br />

improvements over the previous<br />

generati<strong>on</strong> of air quality testers.<br />

Extremely low power c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong><br />

eliminates the necessity for the lengthy<br />

recharging of the instrument. Instead the<br />

<strong>F3000</strong> features standard batteries which<br />

provide a prol<strong>on</strong>ged life. In additi<strong>on</strong> the unit is significantly smaller and lighter making it easier<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> transport <strong>on</strong> site. The unit is designed <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> test low-pressure airline breathing systems but can<br />

be used with a high-pressure regula<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>r assembly <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> test HP cylinders.<br />

The <strong>F3000</strong> is supplied with a “lap<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>p” style carrying case which protects it during transport and<br />

has individual pockets for s<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>ring chemical reagent tubes, inlet adap<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>rs, high pressure<br />

regula<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>rs and documentati<strong>on</strong>. Factair’s quality accredited instrument workshop provides<br />

recalibrati<strong>on</strong> and servicing for the unit. In fact a testim<strong>on</strong>y <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> the robustness and quality of<br />
