Welcome to <strong>2012</strong> and welcome to another collection of stunning products by éclat.<br />
éclat has completely reinvented the seat and seat tube combo and created it’s own generation<br />
of comfortable, strong and light combos. ‘Fat is back’ so this year most of our seats<br />
come in ‘Fat padded’ versions as well.<br />
To add to our outstanding collection of seats, we present to you the OZ pivotal, a brand new<br />
edition with a stronger inverted beam-construction with smaller pivotal patch hole. Designed<br />
without compromise, the OZ pivotal is the result of complete creative and engineering<br />
freedom. Created with the desire to build the best seat in the world, OZ combines its<br />
compelling presence with design cues that are unmistakably éclat.<br />
In <strong>2012</strong> we also introduce a new version of our pivotal seatpost, the Torch. Not only do we<br />
offer a normal straight version incorporating a unique star shaped wall structure to add<br />
maximum strength but also a laid back version with a 15mm head offset. If you require more<br />
leg clearance than we’ve got you covered.<br />
When you have the best barspins in the world then you need the best bars in the world. The<br />
record selling Ashley Charles signature handlebars are now available in 8.6” rise for <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
Joining the already established slim shaped “unit” u-brake and “swift” brake lever, we offer<br />
a new brake lever called the Sniper. The Sniper has a beautiful, eye-catching slim look and<br />
a perfectly shaped lever geometry. Our new brake pads, named the Force, are available as<br />
female and regular bolt system.<br />
The éclat range of pedals has redefined not only éclat but also the luxury <strong>BMX</strong> parts market.<br />
The family consists of the Plaza, the Surge, and now the Slash pedal. Each model has a<br />
personality of its own, but all share the same powerful presence. A huge amount of input was<br />
squeezed from our respected team of riders and together, we all decided to produce this<br />
excellent pedal in nylon and cast alloy for <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
Our new <strong>2012</strong> diesel chain is practically unbreakable and still lighter than a half link chain<br />
due to our choice of hi tensile material. The chain comes with a half link and has an astonishing<br />
classic look.<br />
Last but not least is our new rim the Berserk. The name says it all. A strong high flange<br />
shape makes this rim practically indestructible. It has a gentle mix between a high profile<br />
rim and a straight sidewall rim that gives it that extra sturdiness. Every inch delivers on the<br />
power of simplicity.<br />
With our new addition to the family, Shane Weston and our extensive range of leading<br />
products, <strong>2012</strong> is shaping up nicely for éclat <strong>BMX</strong>.
