Examples of these products: • Toys & children’s product • Household products • Kitchen utensils • Furniture • Battery-operated appliances This Category is subjected to type approval, and surveillance by one of the following means: • Market surveillance; or • Provision of valid QMS (Quality Management System) certificate issued by an accredited certification body, and subsequent annual submission of formal surveillance /reassessment report issued by that certifier ; or • Factory inspection.
