To interact bilaterally with the industry in the government and private sector for meaningful research / collaboration. To facilitate the youth in acquiring state-of-the-art experimental knowledge. To extend departmental facilities to in service engineers. To inculcate an environment of research and development through Ph.D. programmes in the areas of Engineering Design, Stress Analysis, Vibration Analysis, Heat and Mass Transfer, Engineering Materials, Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Management. 30
