<strong>Rego</strong>-T<br />

Application<br />

<strong>Rego</strong>-T is a user-friendly commissioning damper with an extremely<br />

low noise level. The unit is intended for manual operation only, and<br />

correct installation according to air flow is crucial. NB! Actuatorcontrolled<br />

operation is not possible. Max operating temperature for<br />

the damper is 100°C.<br />

Min. height: 50mm. Max height: 1400mm. Module: 50mm<br />

Weight in kg = damper area in m² x factor 20.<br />

Design<br />

<strong>Rego</strong>-T is available in 3 different designs.<br />

1. Height (H) = 50, 75, 100 and 150mm with one damper-blade only.<br />

NB! For installation in duct with internal insulation,<br />

dimensions must be taken into consideration for the 150mm<br />

unit <strong>as</strong> the damper blade protrudes from the damper frame.<br />

2. Standard design with damper blades moving in opposite<br />

directions <strong>as</strong> shown in fig. 1. 50mm module.<br />

3. Standard design with circular spigot available in dim. from and incl.<br />

Ø400 to and incl. Ø1250, shown <strong>as</strong> D in fig. 2.<br />

Shut-off level is max 90%. The damper lever is equipped with<br />

a graduated scale, and can be locked in position with 2<br />

thumbscrews. Damper blades are pinion operated. <strong>Rego</strong>-T is<br />

available in other materials and/or dimensions on request.<br />

MATERIALS AND SURFACE COATING<br />

Frame profiles and damper blades are supplied in a galvanised steel<br />

finish, pinion in PBT pl<strong>as</strong>tic.<br />

<strong>Rego</strong>-T in dimensions Ø400, Ø500 and Ø630, featuring circular connection<br />

collars, are fitted with EPDM rubber g<strong>as</strong>kets.<br />

ACOUSTIC DATA<br />

The air flow rate is calculated buy using the following<br />

formula:<br />

q = K x √Pi eller Pi = (q/K)²<br />

Pi is in P<strong>as</strong>cal, Q is in l/s and K is the unit’s commissioning factor.<br />

Diagram 1 shows the emitted sound power level to duct.<br />

INSTALLATION<br />

<strong>Rego</strong>-T is delivered with guide spigot <strong>as</strong> shown in fig. 3, and is e<strong>as</strong>y to<br />

install in ductwork by using a track connection system which fits the<br />

most common guide types in the market, such <strong>as</strong> KSA.<br />

COMMISSIONING<br />

During commissioning, the damper is adjusted by using the lever and<br />

is then locked in position by means of two thumbscrews.<br />

MAINTENANCE<br />

No specific maintenance requirements.<br />
