The following differentiation is made here: ■■Matte surface, ■■shiny surface and ■■structured surface. It is necessary to differentiate the selection criteria into material, application and surface finish to find the optimum mounted point and correct bond. The mounted point bond and grain mix have a direct effect on the grinding output, tool life and aggresiveness of the tools. They also determine the appearance of the surface that is to be worked on. ➍ Fine Mounted Point Bond After the application and the required surface have been determined, the suitable bond can be selected in the right-hand part of the overview.
