Climate zone means an area defined in Figure A1.1 and in Table A1.1 for specific<br />

locations, having energy efficiency provisions based on a range of similar climatic<br />

characteristics.<br />

Notes:<br />

1. This map can be viewed in enlargeable form on the Energy Efficiency page of the<br />

ABCB web site at www.abcb.gov.au.<br />

2. A Zone 4 area in South Australia, other than a council area, at an altitude greater<br />

than 300 m above the <strong>Australian</strong> Height Datum is to be considered as Zone 5.<br />

These areas have been defined in an enlarged format on the following maps<br />

produced by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure:<br />
