Società delle Autostrade di Venezia-Padova is the operator of the Venezia-Padova motorway and it is<br />
one of the first motorway operators founded <strong>in</strong> <strong>Italy</strong>.<br />
<strong>ITS</strong> Expertise & Solutions<br />
Società delle Autostrade di Venezia-Padova manages the Mestre-Venice beltway that is one of the “red<br />
spots” of the trans-European network TERN. On the Mestre-Venice beltway, Società delle Autostrade<br />
Venezia e Padova has implemented an <strong>ITS</strong> <strong>in</strong>tegrated system for traffic monitor<strong>in</strong>g, an automatic<br />
<strong>in</strong>cident detection which ensures a full coverage of carriageways and 8 ramps equipped with traffic<br />
lights for Ramp meter<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
User <strong>in</strong>formation are provided through VMS an <strong>in</strong>ternet web site conta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g data and pictures updated<br />
<strong>in</strong> real-time.<br />
