La Fermière was created by François Guinchard in<br />
Marseille. The original purpose of the brand was<br />
to offer yogurts of the highest quality on a local<br />
scale; a significant innovation on the marketplace. As soon as the early 60’s their<br />
popularity spread, the whole region was seduced by the distinctive quality of the<br />
products. Then in the 70’s we sparked off the interest of the food retailing<br />
brands. Following the take-over by the Tarpinian Company in 2002, La Fermière<br />
went from a local family business to a medium enterprise. Since then the brand<br />
has been creating dairy products of quality prizing a traditional manufacturing<br />
method and selecting the best products.<br />
