The <strong>Ulster</strong> Ladies Post Primary Schools<br />

Competitions are the official Ladies Gaelic Football<br />

competitions for all post primary schools in <strong>Ulster</strong>.<br />

Comprising of competitions at under 14, under 16<br />

and under 20 as well as a series of development<br />

blitzes the competitions run from September<br />

through to June.<br />

Participation rates in the <strong>Ulster</strong> Ladies Post Primary<br />

Schools Competitions has risen each year with the most<br />

recent season involving 85 schools, 187 teams and over<br />

350 games as well as 3 development blitzes with over<br />

200 children at each.<br />

Gaelic Volunteer<br />

OF THE YEAR AWARD<br />

The <strong>Ulster</strong> Ladies Gaelic Volunteer of the Year Award<br />

recognises the efforts of one special individual for their work<br />

in their club or county. All Ladies Gaelic clubs in <strong>Ulster</strong> of<br />

which there are over 200 are invited to nominate someone<br />

who they feel has made a special contribution to the life of<br />

their club or county. The successful volunteer will receive<br />

their award at the <strong>Ulster</strong> Ladies Gaelic Annual Dinner and the<br />

club to which he/she belongs will receive equipment pack to<br />

help with development in their club.<br />
