Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Buchanan Alumni House Alumni and friends gathered in June to mark 10 years since the opening of Buchanan Alumni House in 2002. Thank you to all who made it possible. 1 1. Dorain ’68H and Bion Foster ’68, ’70G with Woody L. Carville ’53, ’54G. Bion and Dorain gifted the Foster Boardroom. The Class of 1953 named the University of Maine Alumni Association President’s Office in honor of Frederick E. ’53, ’58G and Dione Williams Hutchinson ’54, ’71G. Woody and Jean Grindle Carville ’54 also contributed at the Leadership Level. 4 2 2. Grace Ferguson, Lynda Martin Rohman ’86, Edie McVay King ’67, Louis C. King ’60, Hope Wing Weston ’37, and Warren M. Orcutt ’66. Lynda and John Rohman made gifts to the Alumni House Campaign and the Alumni House Endowment Campaign. Many of the steins on display throughout the house are gifts from Edie King. Edie and Louie also contributed to the Alumni House Campaign and the Alumni House Endowment Campaign, and are regular volunteers for the Alumni Association. 5 3 5. UMaine President Paul Ferguson, UMaine Foundation outgoing President Amos Orcutt ’64, UMaine Alumni Association President Todd Saucier ’93, ’97G, and UMaine Foundation incoming President Jeffery Mills ’82. 3. Linwood Lufkin ’58 was the Project Manager for the general contractor Nickerson & O’Day. 4. Henry W. Saunders ’50, Amos Orcutt ’64 and Al S. McNeilly ’44. The Class of 1950 contributed at the Founders Level. In addition, Henry and Marjorie Higbee Saunders ’50H were donors at the Builders Level. The Class of 1944 gifted the Dirigo seal mosaic in the Grand Foyer. Al McNeilly gifted an office in the University of Maine Foundation suite. 6. WBRC Marketing Director R.
