SHΛPE is excited to introduce their latest series of<br />

accessories for the Sony PMW-F5 and PMW-F55. It<br />

includes aluminum top handles, EVF brackets for<br />

electronic viewfinder, and Sony standard hot shoes<br />

for Sony viewfinders. Their sturdy top handles are adjustable<br />

as is the viewfinder, which can be mounted<br />

in front or on top of the handle and allows for use of<br />

all standard Sony EVF products. SHΛPE’s top handle<br />

provides the 15mm rod blocs with adjustable height<br />

so users can fit their accessories however they<br />

want. SHΛPE is happy to offer a complete bundle<br />

solution for both the F5 and F55 that includes a top<br />

handle kit and BP7000 for all broadcast needs. SHΛPE<br />

The Sony NEX-FS700 acquires the exciting and powerful<br />

capability to output 2K RAW and 4K RAW to the<br />

external Sony AXS-R5 recording system with the introduction<br />

of the HXR-IFR5 interface unit. With 12-bit<br />

precision, 2K RAW recording can be achieved at up<br />

to 240fps continuously without reduction in resolution<br />

or windowing the imager. 4K RAW can be achieved<br />

at up to 60 fps continuous recording. Additionally,<br />

120fps Real Time 4 second “burst” 4K recording can<br />

be achieved. With this combined solution you have the<br />

added benefit of simultaneous RAW recording with<br />

onboard AVCHD for proxy recording. For maximum<br />

performance, SLOG 2 is now added to the picture<br />

profile for use as a monitor LUT allowing incredible<br />

dynamic range performance. In addition to the Sony<br />

solution, Convergent Design’s new Odyssey 7Q will<br />

also be able to record the 2K RAW at up to 240fps,<br />

and a 4K signal from the FS700 for increased flexibility.<br />
