WELCOME TO THE SUNSHINE COAST
Just under an hours drive north of Brisbane and stretching over 100 kilometres, lies the aptly named Sunshine Coast.
A stretch of stunning white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and rolling green mountains. The Coast takes in the mountain
villages of the Noosa Hinterland and Blackall Ranges as well as the beachside playgrounds of Caloundra, Mooloolaba,
Maroochydore and Coolum, the untouched Cooloola Coast and Australia’s most famous resort town, Noosa. The region is
blessed with a network of waterways including the Noosa River, Maroochy River, Mooloola River, and Laguna Bay.
The beaches and ocean invite every kind of water adventure from paddling, surfing and sailing to deep sea fishing. Enjoy
a bush walk, fish, go canoeing, visit the arts and craft galleries or go wandering the markets. Rivers, sheltered bays and surf
beaches provide a variety of swimming spots. Factor in a round of golf or two or treat yourself with a relaxing massage.
The Glasshouse Mountains are a string of 13 volcanic peaks creating dramatic panoramic views. A little to the north, the
Blackall Range holds rainforest trails and quaint townships including Montville, which are a cradle of arts and crafts
industry. Here you can indulge in one of the many restaurants specialising in locally grown tropical fruits and fresh seafood
caught that very day. Whatever you do, you’re sure to find just the right amount of fun, excitement and relaxation that will
make your Sunshine Coast holiday one to remember.
