General Information • A credit card imprint to be held as a deposit at the counter of your pick up location. Hertz accepts all major credit cards. • All drivers of the vehicle must be 21 years of age and carry a full, current driver licence, which has been held for at least 12 months. It is recommended you carry an International Drivers Permit. Some car groups have a higher minimum age and license requirement. A Young Driver Surcharge of €30.94 + tax per day applies to renters aged 19-24 years. Conditions apply. • You have a 29 minute grace period after the confirmed drop time, before extra hour charges are incurred. Extra charges will be at the local applicable rate and paid direct. • Once you have left New Zealand and you wish to make changes to the rental, these changes will be charged at the local applicable rate and paid direct. • If you return your vehicle early, there is no refund on the unused days. • If you intend to drive outside the France borders, conditions apply. Please ask your Travel Agent for details before leaving New Zealand. Additional Extras • It is compulsory for all children aged 10 years and under to be in a child safety seat. This is an additional charge of €38.50 + tax per rental. Booster seats: €11 + tax per rental. • One Way Fees apply on all hires within mainland France from €18-152.45 + tax. International one way hires may be allowed at an additional cost. • Additional driver fee is €31.30 + tax per rental, paid direct.
