Supplier Events
Each year, The Home Depot Foundation hosts several
Community Building Invitationals, events designed specifically
to allow the Company’s suppliers to volunteer alongside
Home Depot associates to renovate and build homes.
It’s a fun, yet truly meaningful, opportunity for suppliers and vendors to support
the work of The Home Depot Foundation. In 2010, our Community Building
Invitationals produced significant results: more than 40 homes were built,
over three acres of yard were landscaped and entire neighborhoods were
transformed. From Glidden, Bali and Cooper Lighting to Scotts, Weber
and Coca Cola, our vendors are a very important part of the success of
The Home Depot Foundation.
In addition to rolling up their sleeves to help, more than 1,000 suppliers also
contribute financially to the Foundation. Whether through a financial donation
or time spent volunteering at a community project, their contributions are
essential to our ability to accomplish our goals.
