WINHLLAPI LANGUAGE REFERENCE<br />
Function 1: Connect Presentation Space<br />
Th<strong>is</strong> function connects a WinHLLAPI application to a specified presentation space<br />
(PS). If <strong>the</strong> application already has a connection, <strong>the</strong> connected PS <strong>is</strong> automatically<br />
d<strong>is</strong>connected, <strong>and</strong> a new connection establ<strong>is</strong>hed. An exclusive connection <strong>is</strong><br />
establ<strong>is</strong>hed with WinHLLAPI between <strong>the</strong> client application program <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> PS that<br />
requires <strong>the</strong> target session to be defined in <strong>the</strong> current EXTRA! configuration. An<br />
application program must call th<strong>is</strong> function before requesting any of <strong>the</strong> followingl<strong>is</strong>ted<br />

The following session parameters from Function 9 affect th<strong>is</strong> function.<br />
WRITE_SUPER (default)<br />
Th<strong>is</strong> application requires write access <strong>and</strong> allows only superv<strong>is</strong>ory applications to<br />
connect to its PS.<br />
WRITE_WRITE<br />
Th<strong>is</strong> application requires write access <strong>and</strong> allows o<strong>the</strong>r applications that have<br />
predictable behavior to connect to its PS.<br />
WRITE_READ<br />
Th<strong>is</strong> application requires write access <strong>and</strong> allows o<strong>the</strong>r applications to use read-only<br />
functions on its PS.<br />
