I-XE can withstand more pressure than most of the other sand
blasting films produced by HARKE Imaging.
APM R3 & APM R5
Easy positioning
Self-adhesive, photo-technique film for processing concave and
safety glass
Easy positioning
High detail fidelity
Quickly to wash-out
Easy to remove
Applicable for the engraving of safety glass
APM R3 and APM R5 are specially suitable for processing
polished and satinized glass, stone and metal surfaces.
The material had especially been developed to produce
repositionable sandblasting masks. It does not immediately stick
and so can easily be exactly positioned. The adhesive contained
in the special R3 emulsion will only become active after having
absorbed humidity.
ImageBlast Adhesive
Application Adhesive
Application Adhesive as well is an effective water soluble liquid
adhesive for which, when using it, no cleaning of the material
after sand blasting is necessary. Adhesive residues can easily be
removed with cold or warm water.
Application
Our liquid adhesives can be applied in different ways with help of a
- Rubber Roll
- Sponge or paint brush
- AirBrush
Adhesive Application with a Rubber Roll
A rubber roll (can be bought at a do-it-yourself store), with
which the adhesive can smoothly be applied, is especially well
suitable on flat glass. The adhesive is so applied onto the object
with a uniform thickness which takes care of an even satinizing
afterwards.
Adhesive Application with a Sponge or Paint Brush
We recommend to use a sponge or paint brush for the application
on bellied objects. Please pay attention not to apply the
adhesive too thick and uneven for this would cause a strong
uneven matting of the glass after sand blasting.
Adhesive Application with an AirBrush
Dilute the adhesive with isopropyl alcohol in order to be able to
atomize it with an AirBrush. Ratio 1 : 1! Now you can bedew
the area with the required adhesive quantity.
Note
The application adhesive is milky
white when wet, and crystal clear
when dry. The mask should only
be applied after the adhesive has
dried.
Cleaner - SOLOPUR
New Cleaner for large areas and sandblasting objects
HARKE Imaging developed a new special cleaner for all objects that
can be wet wiped. Its name is SOLOPUR, and it is suitable for
commercial use.
The formulation developed at HARKE Chemicals makes the new
cleaner to an unbeatable material for all customary surface types like
mirror, glass, metal and polished stone.
Cleaning with guaranteed success
The unique Pro-4 formula takes care of the optimum penetration at
each case because of its hydrophilic effect at the various surface types,
and so demands a minimum of drying time. Moreover surfaces cleaned
with SOLOPUR offer an optimum of adhesion for ImageBlast
sandblasting films. The cleaner has especially been tailored for theses
needs, and therefore HARKE Imaging guarantees that ImageBlast
sandblasting films perfectly adhere if the objects to be sandblasted had
been cleaned directly before with SOLOPUR.
Advantages of Solopur:
- Optimized, fast and stripe-free cleaning
- Hydrophilic effect – dries very fast without deep penetration of the
material
- Minimizing the new staining of the surface
- Suitable for glass, mirror, metal, and polished stone
- Improves the adhesion of ImageBlast sandblasting films
- Anti-fog effect – avoids the fogging of mirrors and windows

Inkjet media & printing tools
For best exposure drafts
The accurate preparation of exposure drafts for contact processing in the screenprinting, tampon
printing and gravure industry today plays a significant role. Already during pre-stage printing
exposure films of bad quality very often result in faults on the exposed stencil. Thus those cannot
or can only limitedly be processed in the production. High costs arise and the productivity
decreases. However, with the new, especially lcoated ImageBlack inkjet films as well as with our
professional soft- and hardware solutions precise exposure drafts can be created within shortest
time in a quality not comparable with customary overhead-, laser- or gelatin coated films.
nksImageBlack
Inkjet Films / Special Coated Films for Exposure Drafts
By the qualitatively high valued chemical coating of this PE-film colors as well as pigment inks (K3inks)
are being absorbed during the ink disposal from the print head. The ink immediately dries on
the surface of the film and becomes extremely resistant against mechanical damages (scratches,
smears, etc.). Furthermore the density (Dmax-value) is effectively increased by the absorption of
the ink into the special coating of the film.
Available sizes: DIN A4 sheets - rolls of 1,52 m x 30 m
ImageBlack AccuRIP Software / Software for Creating Exposure Drafts
With the help of the software ImageBlack AccuRIP photos can be converted into screened
exposure drafts within shortest time. This technique optimizes the print pre-stage for sandblasting
engravers, pad- and screen printers by enormously facilitating and fastening the operations of the
pre-stage for the contact exposure processing. The software is developed for the preparation of
exposure drafts and contains only relevant options for this procedure.
You‘ll find a 14 days trial version at www.harke.com/imaging
ImageBlack aBc System (AllBlackInkSystem) / Black Ink Cartridges for EPSON printers
With this system the color cartridges of an EPSON printer are replaced by high valued, colorbased
black ink. That means that no ink will be wasted any more by drying up if the color inks are
not being used. Because of the high-valued black ink the largest possible density (D-max value) of
the print is obtained. Moreover the AllBlackInkSystem guarantees the permanent use of all color
cartridges by being able to drive via the RIP-software all cartridges singly or totally.
With that the runtime of the EPSON printer – accordingly equipped – is drastically being
increased, and thus saves time and money.
ImageBlack Chip Resetter / Chip Resetter for the aBc-System
Chip resetters are considered a "first aid" kit for anyone using 3rd party cartridges in an Epson
inkjet printer. Epson does not make cartridges that have only black ink (dye) to load into every slot
of your inkjet. Any cartridge that is not an Epson cartridge is called a 3rd party cartridge (or nongenuine).
To help yourself stay up and running when a non-Epson cartridge is in play there are a
few options available. Since Epson would like to maintain as much of the market as possible 3rd
party cartridge manufacturers have to stay ahead of the curve. A chip resetter is a tool to do just
that - along with extra sets of ink cartridges.
Our resetters are available for the following EPSON Stylus Photo printers:
1400, 1800, R1900, 4800 & 4880
