This Dealer memo will cover the following:
Blue Bird Vision - Increased Wiper Angle - Standard
Blue Bird Vision - Right Hand Switch Panel Incandescent - Standard
Blue Bird Vision - ID/Clearance Marker and Intermediate Marker Light – Standard
Engine Block Heater Cable - Propane Engine

Blue Bird Vision - Increased Wiper Angle
Effective with Blue Bird Vision Chassis setting up March 11, 2013 and later the
wiper angle will be increased by approximately 4 deg., for better driver visibility
in inclement weather conditions.
Blue Bird Vision - Right Hand Switch Panel Incandescent
Effective with Blue Bird Vision Chassis setting up March 11, 2013 and later; the
Right Hand Switch Panel and the chassis instrument panel will be utilizing
incandescent switches and rockers as standard in lieu of the LED. This will
commonize the driver's area rocker style switches to incandescent backlighting
across all product lines. The Right hand switch panel and chassis instrument panel
switches and rockers will match the current LH switch panels with incandescent
rocker switches.
The French Bi-lingual feature 03075-00 will now be compatible with the RH switch
panel. LED rocker style switches will no longer be offered.
Blue Bird Vision - ID/Clearance Marker and Intermediate Marker Light
Effective with Blue Bird Vision Chassis setting up March 11, 2013 and later Blue
Bird will be installing LED Button Marker Lights. Any in-house orders setting up
March 11 will be updated to the new button marker ID lights. These will be the
standard lights for the Clearance/Marker, ID and Intermediate lights on any new
Blue Bird Vision orders received January 21, 2013. This will also commonize our
marker light offering across product lines. The marker lights will be installed with
locking connectors like what is used on the T3 product.

With this change to the marker lights, there will be several features that are being
deleted from the BBCV and new features released.
The following picture is an example of the button marker light with connector.

Blue Bird Vision - Engine Block Heater Cable (40168-01) - Propane Engine
A new cable for the engine block heater on the propane engine has been designed to allow cable
to be installed into the current weatherproof cover that is mounted to the front bumper. This
location will be consistent with the diesel engine block heater cable. This new cable will be
effective on Propane units with the Block Heater Cable feature 40168-01 and chassis set-up of
March 11, 2013.
New Storm Glass - Entrance Door
Blue Bird is implementing a new storm glass design for the entrance door to improve
quality and durability. Installation of the new entrance door storm glass will implement in
April 2013 on units with the entrance door storm glass features. It features a warm edge
spacer and a hot melt butyl primary seal, which help to eliminate the water and UV
infiltration. This product has a ¼” EPDM foam spacer instead of the traditional aluminum
spacer which allows for less heat transfer through the edges, more flexibility to counter the
vibrations of the door, and a continuous seal on three sides. The fourth corner is sealed with
a Mylar tape. This product also has the ability to expand and contract with the glass in
changing weather conditions, where the aluminum spacer does not. Finally, the foam
spacer has a desiccant powder built into it which replaces the desiccant beads that fill the
aluminum tubes in the other two styles.
