2. Vegetable crops:<br />
The area of land cultivated with vegetable crops was 758 dunums in Jerusalem Governorate<br />
during the 2009/2010 agricultural year: Uncovered rainfed vegetable crops were planted on<br />
517 dunums (68.1%), uncovered irrigated vegetable crops on 221 dunums (29.1%), uncovered<br />
vegetable crops whose type of irrigation was not stated on one dunum (0.2%), in addition to<br />
19 dunums (2.6%) of covered vegetable crops. The area with the most cultivated crops was Al<br />
Jib locality with 314 dunums (41.5%).<br />

The area of land cultivated with vegetable crops in Jerusalem Governorate was 75 dunums in<br />
winter; 88 dunums in spring; 556 dunums in summer; 39 dunums in autumn. The area of land<br />
planted with single vegetable crops was 513 dunums; associated crops totaled 139 dunums;<br />
mixed crops were 106 dunums. The area of harvested vegetable crops in Jerusalem<br />
Governorate was 693 dunums: 91.4% of all cultivated vegetable crops.<br />
