Mahasamadhi<br />

A very special day during which the<br />

energy of saint and master <strong>Swami</strong><br />

Sivananda is felt intensely. This is the<br />

day when <strong>Swami</strong> Sivananda left his<br />

body and attained what yogis call<br />

Mahasamadhi, final liberation.<br />

A Guru Puja (devotional ceremony)<br />

with an Indian priest will be held at the<br />

temple. This is an opportunity for all<br />

disciples of <strong>Swami</strong> Sivananda to come<br />

together and honour the cosmic<br />

consciousness manifested through this<br />

great universal master.<br />

traditions of India.<br />
