Road Discontinuance<br />

To revoke the Shire of Hastings<br />

Discontinuance of Rights of Way notice<br />

appearing in the <strong>Victoria</strong> <strong>Government</strong> <strong>Gazette</strong><br />

dated 9 December 1987, G48, page 3371<br />

(Notice), Mornington Peninsula Shire Council<br />

advises that the purported road discontinuance<br />

effected by the notice was a nullity as a result of<br />

a flaw in the procedure followed by the Shire of<br />

Hastings.<br />

The relevant section of Seal Street, Point<br />

Leo remains open for public use.<br />

The relevant section of Griffiths Street, Point<br />

Leo was subsequently validly discontinued, as<br />

confirmed in a Road Discontinuance notice<br />

appearing in the <strong>Victoria</strong> <strong>Government</strong> <strong>Gazette</strong><br />

dated 12 October 1988, G39, page 3118.<br />

Under Section 206 and Schedule 10 Clause 3<br />

of the Local <strong>Government</strong> Act 1989 the<br />

Gannawarra Shire Council at its ordinary meeting<br />

held on 16 July 2003 formed the opinion that the<br />

Planning and Environment Act 1987<br />

Notice of Amendment to a Planning Scheme<br />

Amendment C30<br />

The Bass Coast Shire Council has prepared<br />

Amendment C30 to the Bass Coast Planning<br />

Scheme.<br />

Part A<br />

The Amendment applies to 21 and 23 Osborne<br />

Road, Cowes. It is more particularly described<br />

as Lot 32 on Plan of Subdivision 9173 and part<br />

of Plan of Consolidation 363590M, Parish of<br />

Phillip Island, being land contained in<br />

Certificate of Title Volume 7032, Folio 212 and<br />

Certificate of Title Volume 10567, Folio 872<br />

(part).<br />

The Amendment seeks to facilitate the use<br />

and development of the land for a hardware<br />

business. More specifically, the Amendment<br />

rezones land from a Residential 1 to a Mixed<br />

Use Zone.<br />

Part B<br />

The Amendment applies to Lot 1, PS 422683,<br />

being Volume 10480, Folio 803, Churchill Road,<br />

Cape Woolamai.<br />

The Amendment seeks to facilitate the use<br />

and development of the land for a Vietnam
