The European EPIC study showed that:<br />

• A proper diet may lower the risk of cancer of the digestive system by 30%.<br />

• Engaging in physical activity may lower the risk of colon cancer by 20%.<br />

• Engaging in physical activity may lower the risk of breast cancer by 30% but the risk<br />

instead increases in the presence of obesity in menopause.<br />
