If we are <strong>to</strong> <strong>draw</strong> any scenery or a landscape, it is crucial <strong>to</strong> start with the horizon line (pic.01). In case of the horizontal frame, we usually <strong>draw</strong> the line in 1/3 of the paper sheet. The higher you <strong>draw</strong> the line, the more of the terrain you have <strong>to</strong> fill with rocks, plants etc. Because of the specific environment of foreign planet it is reasonable <strong>to</strong> <strong>draw</strong> the line a bit higher. That gives us opportunity <strong>to</strong> show the differences between the Earth and the planet. Pic. 02. Contrast of horizontal and vertical lines The picture is <strong>draw</strong>n as if the observer would be standing on the hill, next <strong>to</strong> the astronauts. In case of this picture, the horizon line goes through any object that is on the same level as an observer. Everything what is above this line is higher than the observer; everything that is below – is smaller or lower.
