Worldhotels Announces Strategic Partnership
Developing Branded Hotels in The Philippines
(Hong Kong, April 19, 2012) – Worldhotels, the exclusive global collection of independent
hotels, has announced a strategic partnership to create five branded hotels in the Philippines
over the next decade.
The cooperation agreement appoints Global Hospitality Franchise System Inc. to provide
consultancy and marketing support to Worldhotels.
Worldhotels is currently on a fast-track to developing its unique new branded hotel solution,
following an enthusiastic response by independent Asian hoteliers.
The ‘Worldhotel’ brand was launched last year in China, at Worldhotel Grand Juna Wuxi. It
extended to India recently with the opening of Worldhotel Turquoise Chandigarh.
Under the solution, Worldhotels provides consultancy, technical support and management
services to independent hotels during construction or renovation.
It also offers hotels a recognised and respected identity under the Worldhotels brand, along
with sales and marketing through its established global distribution network.
“The branded hotel solution offers one of the most flexible models in the world for upscale
independent properties and hotel groups. Adopting the Worldhotel brand enables quality
independent hotels to position themselves internationally in the face of competition from global
hospitality brands,” said Roland Jegge, Worldhotels Vice President Asia-Pacific.
“As well as bringing significant recognition and exposure, Worldhotels provides additional
management and technical support with the help of our partners during construction or
renovation, ensuring operations of international standard,” added Roland.

“The envisioned expansion of the Worldhotels is very timely as the Philippines Tourism and
Hospitality Industry is experiencing robust growth. The cooperation between Worldhotels and
Global Hospitality Franchise will be seen as a positive development in the industry,” said
Manolito Gonzales, representative of Global Hospitality Franchise System Inc.
As Worldhotels is in the course of expanding its current affiliation business to additional new
business models and wishes to expand its business activity in the ASEAN region and other
regions. Global Hospitality Franchise System Inc thrilled to support such expansion by
providing management and technical services, its core experience – and by using its various
contacts in the hotel sector in the Philippines.
