Tunnel Ventilation
The system can be used in tropical regions
of the world. Tunnel ventilation is a negative
pressure system suited for poultry and
pig production.
Air Intake
Air is taken in through a tunnel opening at
one end of the building. The tunnel opening
can be with or without cooling pads.
Air Outlet
Air is let out through large gable fans located
opposite the air intake with cooling
pads in order to create a cooling air current
(chill effect) in the longitudinal direction
of the house. It is possible to achieve
a cooling effect of 10-25° C, depending on
the air humidity. The air outlet is controlled
in accordance with the energy-saving
MultiStep® exhaust principle.
Climate Control
The control function is handled by DOL
339T climate computer. This climate
computer provide efficient and accurate
climate control ensuring optimum growth
under high temperatures. The computer
controls the system based on the temperature
experienced by the animals.
