SKOV System
Fresh air is taken in through wall inlets
during cold periods, thus creating
minimum ventilation to remove the
excess moisture and heat of the animals;
furthermore, the air velocity is kept at a
low level. During hot periods, fresh air
is supplied through a tunnel opening
to create a cooling air current in the
longitudinal direction of the house. Air is
let out through wall fans/chimneys during
cold periods and through gable fans
during hot periods.
