As a local "Micro Smart Grid", <strong>the</strong> EUREF<br />

-neutral <strong>energy</strong><br />
supply and low running costs thanks<br />
to renewable energies. Architecturally<br />
appealing green buildings with LEED Gold<br />
certification and listed brick-built buildings<br />
(including by Alfred Messel) serve as <strong>the</strong><br />
information platform and open forum for<br />
future topics.<br />
The EUREF combines academic research<br />
and teaching with practical, interdisciplinary<br />
testing <strong>of</strong> new, innovative technologies.<br />

education. Here, up to 180 students have<br />
<strong>the</strong> opportunity to acquire internationally<br />
recognised degree qualifications which<br />
