PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
This programme aims to help a learner to:
• Understand the history and concept of Mistake Proofing
• Understand Mistake Proofing principles and methods
• Learn how to perform Mistake Proofing in systematic way to
achieve ZQC
Unit 1: Introduction
• Introduction to Zero Quality Control (ZQC):
- Why mistakes are made?
- Strategies for Zero Defects
• Introduction to Mistake Proofing:
- The purpose of Mistake Proofing
- Mistake Proofing principle and concept
- Mistake Proofing methods
Unit 2: Mistake Proofing Steps
• Process Mapping
• FMEA Analysis
• Root Cause Analysis
• Develop Mistake Proofing Solutions
• Verify and Implement Mistake Proofing Solutions
• Develop Control Plan
This course is also available in Mandarin.
PROGRAMME DELIVERY
Poka Yoke (Mistake Proofing) Training
Programme consists of 2 units for full
certification. This course will take 2 days to
complete, totalling 14 training hours for the
entire programme.
CERTIFICATION
Upon completion of this course, a Certificate
of Attendance will be issued by SMF Centre
for Corporate Learning.
ELIGIBILITY
• Must be either Singapore Citizens or
Singapore Permanent Residents
• Currently employed
