OUR MANDATE<br />

The <strong>Oshawa</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Citizens</strong> <strong>Centres</strong> and their community operations are<br />

non-profit multi-purpose community facilities for adults aged 55 and over. The Corporation of<br />

the <strong>Oshawa</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Citizens</strong> <strong>Centres</strong> promotes the health, welfare and happiness of seniors<br />

by providing programs and services to foster senior empowerment, social interaction, public<br />

education and advocacy.<br />

2011 REGISTRATION INFORMATION<br />

Participation card can be purchased at the reception desk of any OSCC Branch for $10.00 per calendar year.<br />

There is a $5.00 fee to re-print lost participation cards.<br />

OSCC Membership is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable.<br />

2011 OSCC participation cards are required to register for 2011 programs.<br />

The Executive Director may refund fees to a participant when the participant makes a written request<br />

to the Executive Director and/or when: A doctor’s certificate indicates that they cannot take<br />

advantage of the program, activity or event concerned OR The Executive Director has reason to<br />

believe that financial hardship would result if the charge was not refunded.<br />

• Requests must be submitted prior to the 3rd week of class.<br />

• Refund Request forms are available at the front desks.<br />

• An administration fee of $5.00 will be charged for a participant initiated refund for money back, however,<br />

no administration fee will be charged if money is credited to your OSCC account.<br />

• Refunds over $20.00 can be mailed to the participant or credited to account or refunded at front desk if<br />

paid by credit card or debit.<br />

• Refunds under $20.00 can be picked up at the front desk during regular business hours.<br />

• Event tickets will not be refunded unless the event has a waiting list and the ticket is resold.<br />

SPONSORSHIP<br />

Fees are based on individual program costs. Sponsorship to some programs or opportunities to post-date<br />
