$1 Million Raised for the
new Joseph J. Ciancaglini
Endowed Scholarship Fund
We extend our deep gratitude to our
amazing donors,who proved to be
incredibly ‘true to their school’ as they
planned and implemented a special fundraiser
concert, featuring the one and only
Beach Boys. Over 350 guests enjoyed this
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, including
an elegant dinner on Conway Court,
a concert in The Campbell Center for the
Performing Arts, and a reception for the
performers and guests in the Black Box.
The event’s proceeds, totalling over one
million dollars, were used to establish the
Joseph J. Ciancaglini Endowed Scholarship
Fund for financial aid. This fund will
generate the equivalent of one student’s
tuition each year, and the fund will also continually grow so that the income
stream will grow in perpetuity. As with all SHS endowed scholarship funds,
additional financial contributions the the Joseph J. Ciancaglini Fund are
welcome at any time.
Jazz Band
Performs at Head
Start Preschool
In April, the SJSH Jazz Band, led by Ms. Jamie
Craddock, took their show on the road and performed
at the Head Start Preschool. The students had
visited this school before on Helping Hearts service
days.
Ms. Craddock started off the concert by introducing
the name of each instrument while the band members
demonstrated the instruments’ sounds. The preschool
children greatly enjoyed the entire concert.
