Message From Our Director of Advancement As we enter the Holiday season, the words of my father ring out, “charity begins at home.” I welcome you to call Providence High School your home, and yes we do depend on your generosity. As you may or may not know, we do not receive government funds, nor do we receive funds from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. We rely strictly on tuition and donations to keep Providence moving forward. I ask you to take a moment to reflect on all the blessings we share here at Providence High School. I feel very fortunate to be here and I truly love this community. I want to see it continue to grow and prosper. I’ve seen immense changes in the past two years and I want to see this trend continue. Here is a partial list of the program enhancements from the past two years! • AP Computer Science • AP Business Statistics • AP Chemistry • AP Environmental Science • AP World History and Geography • AP Psychology • Honors Economics • Robotics • Programming for Mobile Devices • Zoology • Drama Conservatory • Instrumental Music • Latin • Mandarin Chinese • New Science Center • Golf • Naviance • Acellus • Academic Support Center • Enhanced Summer School program • Additional Academic Counseling These are just a few of the improvements in curriculum and program offerings the past few years. Donations have made this possible! Please partner with us and make a donation today either to the Family Pledge Program or the Annual Providence Fund. This can be done easily through our website as well www.providencehigh.org I see daily the changes your gifts have made in our school community. I want to thank everyone who has donated thus far and encourage those who haven’t to make that commitment now. 100% of your donation makes a difference in the lives of our students!
