An exciting opportunity exists in our Australian business within the Macquarie University
Village, for a Property Services Coordinator, reporting to the Facilities Manager. This role is
for a fixed term of 3 months with the view that it may lead to further opportunities.
The Property Services Coordinator is responsible for performing the ongoing maintenance of
all residences throughout the Village, manage stock control and inventory, risk management
of all equipment and damaged property, complete daily reports as required, assist in the
management and induction of contractors and ensure all recycling and sustainability
activities are completed. We are looking for someone with initiative, who is enthusiastic and
team focused.
Essential criteria for this role include the following experience, skills and qualification.
> Proven ability to perform various maintenance service and repair work.
> An ability to meet tight time frames without compromising quality and safety
> Demonstrated initiative in problem solving, being receptive and open to new ideas
> A good working knowledge of OH&S standards
> Strong communication skills
> Previous experience interacting with customers
> An ability to work with limited supervision
> Current Australian drivers licence
