two species are classified as threatened under the EPBC Act, including one species
classified as endangered. Species in this category generally are not well enough
identified to assign them a species range location in Australia, but the majority of the
species that have such information are found in the western half of the continent.
Information on the vegetation associations of each species has not been obtained and
so patterns are not able to be considered. The known or predicted range areas are
relatively small, with very few even exceeding 2500 km 2 . The data from these
species have been excluded from further analysis. Exclusion of these poorly recorded
species eliminates 1559 records.
