Casuarinaceae
The ANHAT database has 35069 records for 89 species and subspecies of
Casuarinaceae. No species of Casuarinaceae are considered extinct.
Six species account for approximately 50% of the total species records in ANHAT
(Table 183). These species have over 1000 records each. Allocasuarina littoralis is
represented by more than 4500 records.

Eighteen species have 30 or fewer individual record sites in the ANHAT database (
Table 184). This is around 20% of all of the species in this family on the database.
Four species are classified as threatened (including two species classified as
endangered). These species come from the southern half of Australia and cover a
range of vegetation types. Exclusion of these poorly recorded species eliminates 287
records. As usual, their ranges are relatively small.
