The ANHAT database has 3822 records for 31 species and subspecies of Cycadaceae.
No species of Cycadaceae are considered extinct.
Five species account for approximately 50% of the total species records in ANHAT
(Table 276). These species each had over 250 records.

Eleven species, around one-third, had 30 or fewer individual site records in the
ANHAT database (Table 277). None of these species are classified as threatened.
There are too few species and too little information available to determine any
patterns in the different categories of reservation for species of this family. Exclusion
of these poorly recorded species eliminates 195 records.
