A quickened pulse for automotive enthusiasts: discover the Mercedes-Benz brand from its historic beginnings to the present day. You 

will embark on a guided tour through the picturesque Swabian countryside driving the latest lifestyle models such as the new SL or the 

elegant CLS. After an intermediate stop in the house where Gottlieb Daimler was born and a lunch of homemade delicacies, you will 

be part of a guided VIP tour of the Sindelfingen plant, where you will have special access to our state-of-the-art driving simulator that

DTM Hockenheim 2013 

A weekend filled with high-suspense motorsports atmosphere: You will experience the thrilling world of the DTM firsthand at the legendary 

Hockenheim racetrack. To set the mood, there will be a private guided tour of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center and a visit 

to the workshop of the famed Silver Arrows. Afterwards you’ll drive to Hockenheim in the latest Mercedes-Benz models that will be 

provided to you, where you’ll attend the DTM Qualifying and a guided pit-walk. You’ll spend Saturday evening at an exclusive event in 

the VIP club in the paddock. The program’s absolute highlight will be on Sunday: After visiting the Mercedes-Benz Experience World

Driving Air 

Take off with Mercedes-Benz Driving Events: with the Fascination Tour Driving Air you will experience technology and passion by 

land and by air. After a short briefing on the basics of flying, you will head for the airfield and take off in a Piper or Cessna for 

Wilhelmshaven. From there you will continue on to the island of Norderney and finally to Emden. At each intermediate stop a different 

participant will take the co-pilot’s seat and get the chance to personally take the flight controls. This is where you will find out whether 

you have what it takes to be a true aviator! The return trip will be on solid ground: at the wheel of the latest Mercedes-Benz models 

you’ll follow idyllic country roads that will take you back to Bremen. A group reception and dinner will provide the opportunity to relive 

and share the day’s adventures with the other participants.

Klimahaus ® 

Around the world in a single day! Join us on an excursion to coordinates 53°32'36" N, 8°34'28" E – the location of the Klimahaus ® 

Bremerhaven 8° Ost. We will ride pedal electric cycles from smart in Bremerhaven to the fishing port, where a regional specialty will 

be served for your refreshment. While a tour guide tells you about the fascinating development of the port city, you will be pedaling 

along comfortably – the swift pace comes courtesy of the electric motor. In the Klimahaus ® Bremerhaven 8° Ost you will embark on 

a virtual journey of the climates of the world: On 11,500 square meters of exhibition space you will visit various climate zones along 

the meridian 8° east of Greenwich and learn everything you need to know about weather, climate and climate protection. To end the

The Rock 

Conquer “The Rock”! The off-road vehicle course of the Mercedes-Benz Bremen Customer Center offers off-road driving fun and thrills 

for anyone interested in off-roading. After a short theoretical briefing, the GLK-Class vehicles in Bremen provided by Mercedes-Benz 

will be ready for mastering your first demanding climbs and descents as well as hair-raising lateral tilt angles. Lunch will be served at 

the “Gottlieb” restaurant operated by Sarah Wiener before returning to the course for some open driving. “The Rock” offers the perfect 

opportunity to gain first off-road experiences under the expert guidance of our highly experienced instructors.

An investment into your safe driving skills – the Compact Training course makes a valuable contribution to a safe start to daily driving 

routine not only for beginning drivers! The half-day training course raises your awareness of typical dangerous situations. Braking while 

cornering or navigating the slalom course – the Compact Training course uses four exercise stations to provide you the opportunity to

Practice and experience are the foundations of superior driving, especially in unexpected traffic situations. What is the right way 

to master sudden evasive maneuvers or full braking in an emergency situation, and make the right decision in a split second?

position to braking on unequal surfaces or exercises for counteracting vehicle oversteer and understeer. At the same time you

Skilled handling, precise steering and driving dynamics in extreme situations: your milestones on the way to the perfect driving 

technique. During our two-day Perfection Training course you will tackle demanding maneuvers at highway speeds. At a speed of 

130 km/h you will learn vehicle control at the limits of the laws of physics, for instance, when you safely regain control of your 

vehicle after an emergency lane change. Maximum precision and coordination is also required for the weight transfer slalom or on 

the handling track. The end result: pure thrills and driving skills that will also let you master dangerous situations on the highway.

Our training for motorsports enthusiasts: After a warm-up you will spend the first day in section training, where you’ll work toward 

hitting the racing line and the optimal braking point. A theory module in the evening teaches the basics. The next day, you will return 

to the racetrack. Through instructed driving, you will experience driving dynamics and performance under extreme conditions. Turn 

after turn, you will optimize your driving technique, guided by coaches who all have motorsports experience. This will get you ready 

for the grand finale that evening: the Race of Champions (award of national ‘A’ License possible).

Advanced Training

Great personal responsibility, dependability and sometimes unusual working hours – the daily work routine of professional drivers is 

faced with very special challenges. The Professionals Advanced Training is fully tailored to these extraordinary requirements. Building 

on the Professionals Basic Training, the objective of this course is to practice aggravated stress situations and the special demands 

of professional driving. You will, among other things, navigate a handling course at night and will complete the training situations at 

speeds of up to 130 km/h. Together with the instructors who also coach police SWAT teams you will psychologically analyze your personal 

strengths and weaknesses. Our guiding principle of “Learning from the best” epitomizes this training in particular. For the safety

You consider 80 % up- or downhill slopes to be invincible obstacles? Our one-day Advanced Training course introduces you to these 

and other challenges under expert guidance. After the theoretical part examines the function and operation of numerous assistance 

systems in detail, you will need to master extreme axle articulations, steep passages and the art of fording water at our off-road 

driving grounds near Biberach. The challenging course is designed to further improve your driving skills and of course to provide 

plenty of thrills and driving pleasure on four driven wheels. 

A special Advanced Training course is offered for drivers of the G-Class that will familiarize you with the special features of this very

Registration 

Registration takes place solely by means of the Mercedes-Benz Driving Events form, which is forwarded on 

request, or the online registration form available at www.mercedes-benz.de/driving-events. Registrations 

become binding immediately upon confirmation in writing. 

Daimler AG has commissioned BKP GmbH, Münchner Strasse 24, 85774 Unterföhring, Germany, to carry out 

the Mercedes-Benz Driving Events in its own name and on its own account. BKP is the organizer of the events. 

price 

In addition to theoretical and practical training, the price also includes catering, except in the case of Eco Training 

staged at the customer’s site. In the case of courses extending over several days, hotel accommodation 

with full board is included. The price for participation does not include cancellation insurance. Cancellations 

prior to the beginning of the event may be subject to cancellation charges. It is thus recommendable to take 

out suitable insurance. 

Training vehicles 

Training vehicles are provided. Participants have no entitlement to a specific vehicle. 

Amendments 

The organizer reserves the right to amend the course or contents of events. 

Rebooking 

Rebooking (including in case of illness) is possible for individual participants only and only up to 14 days prior 

to the commencement of training. A rebooking fee of EUR 47.60 incl. VAT applies. 

6. Cancellation terms 

a. 

Cancellation of a registration must be effected in writing. The date of receipt by Mercedes-Benz Driving Events 

shall determine whether the cancellation is effected within the required deadline. In case of failure to attend 

the event or failure to effect cancellation within the required deadline, the full price for the event shall be payable. 

The cancelling participant’s right to prove that the cancellation or failure to attend the event has not led 

to any damage or has caused a substantially lesser degree of damage shall remain unaffected. 

b. 

Cancellation terms for individual participants (also applicable in case of illness): Where an individual participant 

cancels his or her application for an event, the following conditions shall apply:

Cancellation by Mercedes-Benz driving Events 

Should the minimum required number of participants fail to be attained, Mercedes-Benz Driving Events 

reserves the right to withdraw from the contract up to 1 week prior to the beginning of the course concerned. 

In this case, Mercedes-Benz Driving Events will refund the fee for the event.

Only holders of a valid driving license for passenger cars are eligible to participate in Mercedes-Benz Driving 

Events. Participants are obliged to permit inspection of their driving license. 

9. Ban on alcohol 

Alcohol is strictly prohibited during the driving events (blood-alcohol level of 0.0 milliliters). In case of breach of 

this rule, Mercedes-Benz Driving Events shall be entitled to exclude the participant concerned from the further 

course of the event. The fee for the event will not be refunded in such cases.

Participants are to behave in a disciplined manner during the driving event. The Mercedes-Benz Driving Events 

instructors are authorized to issue instructions to participants for the duration of the driving events. 

Self-retention in case of damage 

The vehicles placed at the participants’ disposal by Mercedes-Benz Driving Events are provided with fully 

comprehensive insurance coverage including self-retention to the sum of EUR 1,000. In case of damage to the 

vehicle provided, the participant shall be obliged to pay this self-retention sum to the organizer. This obligation 

may be waived at the organizer’s discretion where damage occurs in a driving exercise in which the participant 

has demonstrably followed the instructor’s instructions. 

Where claims are not payable by the insurer owing to gross negligence by the participant or if damage which is 

not covered by the fully comprehensive insurance arises due to fault on the part of the participant, the participant 

shall be liable for all such damage which he or the person accompanying him may cause.

Liability 

Should statutory responsibility attach to Daimler AG in accordance with these provisions for a case of damage 

resulting from ordinary negligence, Daimler AG’s liability shall be limited: liability shall apply only in case of 

breach of material contractual duties and shall be limited to typical damage as was foreseeable at the time of 

conclusion of the contract. This restriction shall not apply to harm to life, limb or health. Irrespective of any 

fault on the part of Daimler AG, any liability of Daimler AG under product liability law shall remain unaffected. 

Daimler AG’s statutory agents, vicarious agents and employees shall not be personally liable for damage 

caused by ordinary negligence on their part. The same shall apply to the owners of the site at which the 

training is carried out or to parties holding other entitlements to the said site. No strict liability in tort shall be 

assumed for any defects on the vehicle provided. Access to the training site is not permitted for spectators and 

accompanying persons who are not registered as participants; no liability shall be assumed for such persons. 

As the on-site team’s attention is devoted to the participants during our events, it is not possible to attend to 

spectators and accompanying persons. 

15. Final provisions 

All agreements must be set down in writing. This requirement shall apply equally to subsidiary agreements and 

undertakings and to subsequent contractual amendments. Should a provision of this contract be ineffective 

or unfeasible, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this contract. Acting in good faith 

and within the bounds of what is reasonable, the contracting parties shall replace such an ineffective provision 

with a provision which corresponds as closely as possible to the intended legal and economic effect of the 

ineffective provision. Where the contract is concluded with a foreign party, the contractual relationship shall be 

subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The sole place of jurisdiction for all claims 

arising from this contract shall be Munich, if the participant does not possess a place of general jurisdiction in 

Germany, relocates their domicile or usual place of residence out of Germany or if their domicile or usual place 

of residence is not known at the time of instituting proceedings.
