they must be accompanied by an adult.<br />
Siblings are welcome to attend, however they must be supervised by an adult,<br />
other than the coach, at all times. Bring quiet games for children to play with.<br />
Chasing, running, climbing or throwing objects is not allowed in the hallways or<br />
gym.<br />
End <strong>of</strong> season parties are not to be held inside school facilities. Please find an<br />
alternate location.<br />
Dispose <strong>of</strong> any trash appropriately and help clean up the gym and hallways<br />
before leaving.<br />
Tobacco, alcohol and drugs are not permitted on school property.<br />
Equipment: Coaches and parents are responsible for ensuring the players have the<br />
proper equipment for the sport.<br />
Coaches will be issued equipment bags with basketballs, cones, practice<br />
jerseys, a ball pump and a first aid kit. Coaches are responsible for all<br />
equipment until returned to the Parks and Recreation Office.<br />
The Parks and Recreation Department will provide players and coaches with a<br />
jersey. Players and coaches must wear the provided jersey for all games.<br />
Players are not allowed to make any alterations to their jersey.<br />
Jerseys must be tucked in during all games.<br />
Non-marking gym shoes are mandatory. Coaches and players must wear<br />
appropriate shoes for the program. Flip flops, clogs, boots, etc. are not<br />
allowed.<br />
All jewelry must be removed prior to participating in practices or games.<br />
Taping is not permitted. Players shall not wear rings, earrings, watches,<br />
bracelets, necklaces or any hard objects on their person or clothing.<br />
(Exception – medical identification bracelets or chains are allowed and must be<br />
taped down).<br />
It is highly recommended that players keep their fingernails shortened for the<br />
season.<br />
Players with casts, s<strong>of</strong>t or hard, will not be allowed to participate. Casts<br />
padded or not, may cause injury to the player or others.<br />
Player Information Sheets (available on the <strong>City</strong> website): To know your players goals<br />
and objectives for the season; have players complete this form. Coaches may create<br />
their own questionnaire if they would like.<br />
Schedule: All teams must follow the <strong>Woodland</strong> Park Parks and Recreation practice<br />
and game schedule. Every team is scheduled for the same number <strong>of</strong> practices and<br />
games throughout the season. Practices that are cancelled will not be rescheduled. If<br />
time allows, and facilities are available, games that were cancelled may be<br />
rescheduled.<br />
