<strong>Fair</strong> Tickets Available June 7 – Online!<br />
With an enhanced website and social media sites,<br />
planning a <strong>State</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> visit is now easier than ever!<br />
Blackfoot, ID (June 3, 2010) -- With a newly renovated website, its first Facebook and Twitter pages and<br />
an improved online ticket ordering system, the <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Idaho</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> has taken its 2010 theme of Rock<br />
Around the Stock to the web! The improved electronic experience – all found at www.funatthefair.com –<br />
will enable fairgoers to stay connected to the fair year round and -- most importantly -- make online ticket<br />
ordering even more convenient.<br />
“We have completely re-designed our website to better communicate all the fair has to offer in<br />
competitions, entertainment and education,” said <strong>Brandon</strong> <strong>Bird</strong>, General Manager of the <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Idaho</strong><br />
<strong>State</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>. “By adding a Facebook page, we can better connect with fairgoers about this year’s<br />
entertainment and gain valuable feedback for what we choose for future fairs.”<br />
The <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Idaho</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> makes buying nighttime entertainment tickets as easy as ever, through an<br />
improved online ticket ordering system. This new system allows fairgoers to buy their tickets, choose their<br />
seats, and print their tickets – at home or at work – saving them from waiting in lines to purchase or pick<br />
up will-call tickets.<br />
All of the new electronic benefits are available at no charge to VIP ALL ACCESS MEMBERS. To become a<br />
VIP All Access Member simply register by entering your email address at www.funatthefair.com. VIP All<br />
Access Membership benefits include being able to purchase tickets online one week earlier than the<br />
general public beginning on June 7 at 8:00 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning June<br />
14th at 8:30. Benefits also include being entered to win weekly ticket giveaways and receiving monthly<br />
newsletters.<br />
“Our <strong>Fair</strong> District covers 16 counties and draws people in from five states. No matter where you are you<br />
can make sure to get your nighttime entertainment tickets in the seats you choose,” said <strong>Bird</strong>.<br />
The 2010 <strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Idaho</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>, to be held September 4-11 in Blackfoot, brings to the grandstand some<br />
of the biggest names in the business, including Kenny Rogers’ “First 50 Years” Tour with the always<br />
popular Oak Ridge Boys opening on Friday, September 10. Another Rock legend -- Foreigner – will
e sure to please on Thursday, September 9, with classics like Urgent, Jukebox Hero, and the power<br />
ballad Waiting for a Girl Like You.<br />
Again, to order your tickets online, one week earlier than the general public, register for free anytime at<br />
www.funatthefair.com and receive a special VIP All Access email link to begin ordering tickets starting<br />
June 7 at 8:00 a.m..<br />
