REGISTRATION STEPS<br />
To prepare for and complete<br />
registration, follow the steps listed<br />
below:<br />
1. Know the day and time to<br />
begin registration/scheduling.<br />
<strong>DeVry</strong><br />
2. Plan a schedule by using this<br />
booklet for course information (dates/<br />
times/instructors) and registration<br />
details. Access program Plans of<br />
Study online at www.kc.devry.edu,<br />
click on Registration Information, then<br />
Plans of Study/Announcements.<br />
3. Clear any listed departmental<br />
holds: Holds are listed in your<br />
student portal and will prevent<br />
scheduling.<br />
4. Schedule all courses in your<br />
portal. (Session A and B - don’t<br />
wait eight weeks to schedule Session<br />
B classes!) Access HELP under the<br />
Registration Information link of the KC<br />
<strong>DeVry</strong> homepage for screen captures<br />
and tips on how to submit a schedule.<br />
5. Print off a copy of your<br />
completed schedule and<br />
review. Keep for your records.<br />
REGISTRATION HOLDS<br />
Beginning in Sept, students may access<br />
their <strong>DeVry</strong> student portals to see holds<br />
listed that will affect their ability to enroll for<br />
the upcoming term.<br />
Student Central Office Holds:<br />
• Missing Proof of Insurance<br />
• Delinquent Financial Aid<br />
• Delinquent Student Accounts<br />
• Delinquent Housing<br />
• Missing Official Proof of Graduation -<br />
Please see Registrar<br />
• Please Contact your Academic Advisor<br />
• Advisory Hold - Please see<br />
Administrator<br />
If you have a hold, you will not be able to<br />
see fall schedule information in your student<br />
portal or submit a schedule until ALL holds<br />
are cleared. See example below.<br />

Only the office that applied the hold may<br />
clear the hold.<br />
Holds prevent scheduling… don’t risk a<br />
$50 Late Fee. Clear your holds today!<br />
Students who do not submit a <strong>Fall</strong> schedule<br />
by the October 25 registration deadline may<br />
be penalized with a $50 Late Fee.<br />
GRADUATING???<br />
If you are entering your final semester of<br />
classes and are expecting to graduate at<br />
the end of the fall term, there are several<br />
requirements that must be met beyond<br />
passing all your courses.<br />
1. Graduation Application. All<br />
potential graduates must complete a<br />
graduation application with the registrar<br />
staff in Student Central.<br />
2. Meet with Career Services. See<br />
“Potential Graduates” on pg. 10.<br />
3. Meet with Student Finance. To<br />
discuss any outstanding financial<br />
obligations and answer questions.<br />
4. Caps and Gowns. Ordering and<br />
graduation ceremony information will be<br />
available in Student Central.<br />
